911 Dispatchers hear the worst and send the best day in and day out to help the community and keep responders safe and informed. The demanding profession of being a public safety dispatcher takes a toll on our heroes in the headsets with prolonged exposure to trauma with little to no closure. We need to take care of the ones that take care of us. We proudly offer workshops tailored to our 911 dispatchers to help give them the tools they need to excel in their profession and ensure their well-being is treated as a top priority, just like any other high-priority call they process regularly. Your PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) has an opportunity to be the change we need to see in the public safety industry. We will help dispatchers build self-awareness and resilience, boost center morale, and foster the team-building camaraderie essential to public safety. Lisa Kehoe, Executive Director of Salt Lake City 911, began her career as a 911 Dispatcher at Sandoval County Regional Emergency Communications Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, in 2008. Her own experience with trauma is relatable and authentic. She discovered the excellent benefits of yoga in 2012, opened Vivify Hot Yoga with her husband in 2015, and has taught yoga to the public, first responders, domestic violence survivors, and more ever since. But there is one group that constantly is overlooked. They are out of sight and too often out of mind—the heroes in the headsets. She is honored to go to your PSAP and bring her knowledge, experience, and care directly to you. Contact us for a quote, and let's be the change together.
